Journey through Africa: The Dunia Collection
This unique collection of artisan-made decor and art honors craft traditions from Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, South Africa, Zimbabwe and
the Republic of the Congo. Dunia, meaning “earth” in Swahili, a language spoken in many of the countries represented, refers to the natural
materials—including raffia fibers, recycled paper, cotton, wood and more—found in every design.

To curate and source the assortment, we partnered with
designer Diego Olivero and native Zimbabwean Robbie
Stewart, founder of Mbare, an organization that supports
African creative communities by providing sustainable
income and trade opportunities.
